Paul makes this troubling announcement in Philippians 1:29, "God has granted to you not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for his sake.

Christians suffer when misunderstood because of their convictions. Suffering for your faith may equal loss.

Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us not to be anxious, but instead take everything to the Lord in prayer. His promise is peace beyond understanding In every challenge that may come our way.

God's promise of peace will surpass all understanding- God may not immediately change circumstances, but He promises His presence and protection within them!
