Jesus was God born into human flesh (John 1:14). His command to His disciples is "Follow Me" (Matthew 16:24). What does that look like for you?

Love Others

The second greatest command in the Bible is to "love your neighbor as yourself" (Matthew 22:39). Jesus is the perfect model of what this looks like. He is the King of glory but came "not to be served but to serve others" (Mark 10:45).

Make Disciples

Loving people has a purpose. It results in others turning to Jesus and following Him alongside us. Jesus commanded us to "make disciples" so all our love and service to others should be with this goal in mind (Matthew 28:18-20).

Endure

Following Jesus is not easy. It's a life of self-denial (Matthew 16:24). Carrying your cross will not bring accolades but hatred and persecution from others (Matthew 10:22). We must not grow weary but finish our race (Galatians 6:9; 2 Timothy 4:7).
