What Does It Take To Follow Jesus?
Following Jesus Only Happens Through Word and Spirit
- Those in flesh are bound by flesh. — John 1:12-13; 3:6; 31
- Jesus is the WORD that became flesh. — John 1:14
- The "Spirit" descends on the "Word" made flesh. — John 1:32
- Now the "Word" baptizes His disciples with the "Spirit." — John 1:33
Jesus Is the Perfect Example of Word and Spirit Together
- John 8:2-11 is the perfect example of the difference Jesus makes with His New Covenant Kingdom!
- Some love the law and not people. Others love people and not the law. Jesus loves both.
