Temptation
The serpent has done his worst in planting a seed of doubt, contradicting God, and appealing to human pride (vs. 4-5). Verse 6 shifts in focus from the serpent to Eve.

Gospel Hope
The first Messianic prophecy of the Old Testament is found in Genesis 3:15. A seed of woman will be born. His heel will be bitten, but that heel will crush the serpent's head. The seed of woman's name is Jesus!
